The G4/667 Shoots It Out With The G4/733 and Dual G4/533.

The "666.6" has been all but ignored in the heated forum debates on why the "733" is not as fast as expected and if the "Dual 533" is a better deal. So I tested the G4/667 this week and added it to the mix. Chow down!

One of my faithful readers reminded me that "normal" people don't use Photoshop or play Quake3. They do "un-sexy" stuff like run FileMaker databases. Good point. FileMaker is a classic example of an application used by millions of people that has NO G4 or multiprocessor optimization. In this case, megahertz is everything.
