How Much Faster is the iPhone 7 versus 6 and 6s?

Apple claims that the iPhone 7 is 2x to 3x faster than the iPhone 6 and as much as 50% faster than the iPhone 6s. We ran various benchmarks to see.

Geekbench 4 - Combined Integer, Floating Point, and Memory Performance test.

This is JavaScript benchmark suite focused on the most advanced web applications.

SUMMARY
The
iPhone 7 is from 36% to 43% faster than the iPhone 6s running CPU intensive tests such as Geekbench and JetStream. And it is 2.2 to 2.6 times faster than the iPhone 6 running CPU intensive tests.

As for GPU intensive Metal benchmarks, the iPhone 7 is as much as 44% faster than the iPhone 6s and an as much as 5.3 times faster than the iPhone 6.

In the Storage test, the iPhone 7 is 18%-19% faster than the iPhone 6s and 2.5 to 4.4 times faster than the iPhone 6.
